Dunmore Gardens, Donegal // North West Brides Magazine Shoot

Dunmore Gardens is an absolute gem of a location for your wedding day. The barn has high stone walls and large wooden beams holding up rustic cartwheel chandeliers. The adjoining the barn holds a marquee, with a capacity for 150 guests. The Dunmore Gardens is on the Donegal Garden Trail with over 2.5 acres of flowers, but it also has intricate winding paths and ponds.  The walled garden is the perfect spot for photographs with a rich collection of plants, intricate paths that radiate from the huge central redwood in the middle of the garden, willows gracefully arching over the pond, beautiful white lilies, early 20th century terraced rose beds, hidden archways and secret corners.

The wonderful traditional walled garden dates back to 1742.  And it is all set in 100 acres of farm and woodland surrounding Dunmore House, a lovely Georgian Country house.
