When Tara first contacted me about her wedding she told me they were renovating her granny's old mill for their service and reception. At the same time she sent me pictures before work had even started and I did think at the time it was very brave! A few days before their wedding Northern Ireland was hit by the worst storms with torrential rain causing severe damage to the area. Luckily The Mill didn't suffer any damage, although I'm sure stress levels peaked!
The morning of the wedding I called to The Mill first to capture details. I was stunned by the level of work and creativity, so much of Tara and Neil's personality were poured into their details. It truly was unique in every way possible, a total photographers dream venue!
For the bridal portraits we headed up the road to Tara's granny's gardens. The Christmas trees were used throughout The Mill for decoration so were an important backdrop for the photographs.
There was so much to love about this wedding, I could write a long list but take a look for yourself. Thanks to Tara and Neil's parents and their bridal party for being so welcoming to my second shooter, Sarah and myself, we had a ball! Congratulations x
