Crover House Hotel Wedding // Farrah + Mark
I’m a big fan of the blush wedding gown so when I first saw Farrah’s gorgeous dress from Alice May Bridal in Dublin I think I did a little dance of excitement! To help look after Farrah on her day were her four sisters who all looked extremely cute in their Ted Baker bridesmaids dresses. The girls were all so much fun and I don’t think they stopped smiling once!
Gifts are often handed out on the morning of a wedding and I have to say it’s bonus points to Farrah’s husband, Mark, for purchasing her such a unique gift, just check out that guitar! Naturally we had a bit of fun with it after everyone was dressed.
For their wedding reception Farrah and Mark booked Crover House Hotel in Co Cavan. I’ve been here a number of times and have always found the staff so helpful. It’s set in beautiful grounds on Lough Sheelin with lots of spots for photographs. Making the most of the sunshine we wandered the Crover House Hotel gardens before leaving Farrah and Mark to enjoy some time with their guests and to test out their Signature cocktail Gilly’s Ginger and Pomegranate Lambe-onadel!
After the main course was served there was a little surprise in store for Farrah and Mark. Unbeknown to everyone, Farrah’s sisters had booked singing waiters - Singers for Hire. I often wonder if guests know what to expect but no matter how many times I’ve seen them the expressions of confusion as to what is going on always make me laugh and the atmosphere in the room is guaranteed to reach fever pitch!
Calming things down we made the most of setting sun and took a stroll down to the waters edge before the dancing commenced.
